Having never been to Cuba, the images that Mary has captured, makes me want to go and see the decay/beauty of the country. As usuall, some of her pictures look like paintings, which I find remarkable.

The artist has beautifully captured the decay and poverty of the city while maintaining the dignity of those she photographed. The amazing use of colour and intimacy makes me yearn to go back to Havana, even though I have never been!

I like this artist's sense of structure, and how she can bring out the beauty and dignity of these buildings in spite of their decay. My favorite, though, is the photo of the young man whose grace and beauty are framed by the arcades and shadows he is walking through.It is the contrast between the stone and the living being,shown through color and shape that appeals to me.Great photos!
